How do you entertain 2 year olds on a hot summer day?
Water!
My girls love anything with water (hence the potato washing day...). So I tried the simplest activity ever. Fill up a bucket with water from the hose, give them some cups and bowls, and let them go to town. The girls love to pretend to cook, so they were making me bowl after bowl of soup. :)
Seriously, they played nicely together for a really long time...it was heavenly!

This is a view of the river in our backyard. It's so pretty to look at...the girls love to watch for ducks.My dad used to say that only really rich people and really poor people live on rivers.
We aren't rich. :)
