Here's more pictures of some of the fun from our time in the UP. We really love it up here...the northern part of Michigan is absolutely gorgeous! If you've never been, you need to add it to your bucket list.
After moving up here, we tried to squeeze in as much 'touristy' things as we could. It was great to have both Brooks and I home with the girls this summer...unemployment can be great!
Since our house is on about 9 acres, there is a four wheeler to play with...the girls and I spent a lot of time driving around on it...it was so fun!
There are lots of fun souvenir shops around the Soo Locks! The girls thought it was so much fun! And Brooks had fun finding unique Native American gear. ;) Ha!

Brooks built a little trailer for pulling behind the four wheeler....it's great for hauling wood, tools, and little girls. :)
Since we didn't have cable or internet this summer, we spent a lot of time at the local library....we went through a LOT of books! Note that Jorja's book is upside down...haha!
This was our first trip to Lake Superior! It was COLD but so fun! The water is just beautiful....clear and fresh. This is at Sherman Park...we spent many days here, playing and swimming.
Jorja really became brave with swimming and the water this summer...she loves it!
So there are some random pictures from our time here this summer. It really was a great summer...I miss those warm days at the beach already!
