Weekend at Mimi's

Here are some pictures from last weekend....things we did while the bathroom was under construction. The girls had so much fun at "Mimi's house" and they keep asking to go back. Whenever they pretend to go bye-bye, our conversation usually goes like this:

Gianna: Bye-bye, Mama (as she packs up her baby doll and purse)
Me: Goodbye, Gigi. Where are you going?
Gianna: Mimi and Kim's house!
Me: Will you miss Mama?
Gianna: NOPE! (as she runs down the hall, pretending to leave)

Sigh. They don't even miss me anymore.

We started the weekend off by swimming at a beautiful pool. The girls had a great time...even Olivia got into the swimming action. We went swimming with our sweet neighbor girls, A and K.

Gianna and A

After swimming, we drove up to my mom's house. We visited with Nana and Uncle Dan, went shopping with Aunt Kim, attempted to go to the zoo but were too late (it closes at 4p.m....way too early), played at Valplayso, and went to the coolest place ever, Bellaboos.

If you live in NW Indiana and haven't taken your kids to Bellaboos, I highly suggest you remedy that situation. It was so fun...my girls went crazy there!
Here's their website:
Bellaboos

We had so much fun playing at Bellaboos. It was nice because it was SO HOT outside. We were able to run some energy off and stay cool. Here's some pictures from our fun day.

Bellaboos consists of a bunch of different play rooms...here is Gianna getting ready to play with the blocks and wood in the construction area
Painting in the craft area...you could paint, draw, make things out of clay...it was so cool.

In the train room
Going grocery shopping...
and paying for their groceries
In the dress up room...there were so many different outfits to try on! Gigi was a firefighter and a police officer. Maya just wanted to be a princess (and then she wouldn't take the dress off)

Playing in the kitchen--there was tons of fake food and baby dolls to take care of.
Then the girls got to paint their own faces...and Momma's face. Aunt Kim helped paint a rainbow on their faces.

There was a huge play area (like two McDonald's play areas put together) and an awesome ball pit. The girls loved the ball pit.
Bellaboos was amazing. I wish we lived closer!

It was a fun weekend, except for the twins not wanting to sleep. I don't know what their problem was...I was exhausted!
