I think it's funny that I posted about life interrupting our plans sometimes....then all of a sudden, our whole weekend was changed/interrupted!
Since we missed out on our hot Valentine's Day date (it even says "Hot Date Night" on my calendar on February 14th), we decided to go on Friday night. We had an awesome evening planned. Our sweet babysitter was coming at 3:30pm...we were going to head down to Indianapolis and go shopping...then change into some 'fancy clothes' (my new dress) and go out to eat at a really nice restaurant.
Brooks and I were so excited. It's been a while since we had a nice date night (a few weeks...long time for me) and I was thrilled to have some one on one time.
Guess what happened?
Fevers. And croup.
Yes, our little darlings all got sick. All three had fevers and Gianna developed croup the other night. We almost took her to the ER, but she magically was better outside (the magic of cold air and croup). We haven't slept much since Wednesday and we're exhausted.
So guess what? It's Monday and I haven't left my house since Thursday. Date night? Gone. Church on Sunday? No way. Plans for Monday? Changed. Haircut? Eyebrow wax? Didn't happen.
We've called the babysitter to see if she's free tonight, but I'm not getting my hopes up! My eyebrows are gross, anyways.

That's sooo how our weekend was too, only we all had the flu :( Cancelled date night, no last soccer game for Ethan, and on goes the list! I totally understand. I hope you have your date night soon!
