the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week!

Okay, that blog title is a little overexaggerated.  But last week was so busy and exhausting.  We had VBS every day in the morning.  VBS went really well...our church has never had a VBS before!  I found that really hard to believe, but this year was the first.

We averaged around 60 kids each morning.  It was a lot of fun, and it gave me a chance to get to know some people a little more.  It's hard being the new kid at church, especially when you're the pastor's wife.

Every evening of last week we were out of the house.  We either went to someone's house for dinner, had youth group, or had some kind of church related activity.  It was way too much.  My house is still a mess and I'm just now finding the floor in my laundry area.

After a week of craziness and being around so many little kids, we all got sick.   I started us off with the stomach flu on Saturday and Sunday, then Olivia got a fever Sunday night, now everyone has colds, sore throats, and runny noses.  Yuck.  Don't come over to our house...we need to be quarantined.

So, we're still sick, but getting better.

Here are some quick pictures from last week:

Maya and Gigi's VBS class...the 3 and 4 year olds.  Can you see Maya's shoes?  One is pink, the other is purple....they like to share shoes.  My girls are the ones in the matching pink shirts :)
Singing the VBS songs and doing the motions....

And here's my little stinker.  This picture isn't at VBS, although she did go and hang out in the nursery.  She's just getting to be such a big girl!

I'm tired.  Time for a nap!
(yeah, right!)
