It has been raining every single day here--crazy! The river in our backyard (yes, we have a river in our backyard) is so high and fast. You can watch huge trees floating down the river right now.
We took the girls to their 2 yr check up a few days ago. Maya weighs a little over 28 pounds, and Gigi is a little over 27 pounds. Maya has weighed 1 pound more than Gigi at almost every check up! Anyways, they are both normal....in the 60-70th percentile in height, weight, head circumference.
Gianna was so good during the appointment. No crying at all! Maya, on the other hand, cried from the moment we started removing her shirt. But everything was wonderful at the end when they got a sticker AND a sucker!
Due to all the rain, we've been stuck inside. The one day we went to Wal-Mart, we got completely soaked from head to toe getting into our car. I've been trying to be super creative with keeping the twins busy during the day.
So far, we've played in water 'washing' Easter eggs, toys, and giving their baby dolls baths. I have plans to make play-doh soon, and yesterday we piled every pillow we could find onto the living room floor. Then the twins jumped off the couch onto the pillows. They thought it was hilarious!
