Review---Boppy Newborn Lounger

I love the Boppy Newborn Lounger. Almost everyone has a Boppy for their baby, but not as many people are aware of the awesomeness of a newborn lounger. It's basically a pillow that is designed to support and hold a newborn safely.

This was essential for us. My wonderful Aunt and Uncle bought use two newborn loungers as a baby shower gift, and we are forever grateful! When you have newborn twins, you are always in need of a place to set them down. A regular Boppy will work, but the babies kind of 'flop' over, or end up sliding down. They really aren't supported that well.

The lounger supports them and keeps their head propped up slightly, which helps with spit up. Our babies were usually perfectly happy hanging out on their newborn loungers.

PROS:

• supports baby, keep head slightly elevated
• totally washable....trust me, we've had some poop blowouts on the newborn loungers that soaked into the pillow. It came out of the dryer looking fabulous.
• There are different covers you can buy. We just had one cover for each.
  
• Good for baby pictures...supports baby without them looking slouchy
• comfy for mom and dad to sleep on (trust me, the newborn loungers have been used multiple times as a pillow on the couch)
• my girls still like to sit and lay on their newborn loungers

CONS:

• kind of expensive, especially if you need two
