We had a fun visit with "Mimi" last weekend (Mimi is my mom). The girls were so excited to see her...it's hard to live 3 hours away from Grandma. If you are blessed to live close to grandparents, I hope you realize what a blessing it is!
My girls talk about Mimi, Aunt Kim, Mamaw, and Poppa almost daily. They will say that they miss them, that they want to go to their house, that they want to draw them pictures and give them hugs.
When Mimi came, she brought gifts (who gets gifts 2 weeks before Christmas? my spoiled girls) and candy and best of all...COOKIES and FROSTING! My mom had everything ready to go for decorating.
I'm so glad she brought the cookies. I've felt so gross lately that the idea of baking and decorating cookies with 2 three year olds sounds like torture. So, thanks to Mimi, my girls got to decorate some Christmas cookies this year!
One of the gifts Mimi brought was new My Little Pony undies. The girls LOVE My Little Pony and they really needed some bigger underwear, so they were thrilled to get new undies.
And, apparently, My Little Pony undies double as awesome hats!
